Expectations and Success

February 3rd, 2010 by Steve Little

One of the areas people really struggle with is the expectations they set for themselves and their business. Usually this has to do with the role you choose to play in the business or the rate your business produces the results you’re expecting.

When you set and maintain the wrong expectations for yourself and your business you effectively disable the possibility for success. And, as you’ll learn in this video, it’s more than a matter of the way your expectations cause your to perceive events.

There is now real scientific evidence that that mis-setting expectations…whether too high OR to low…actually inhibits brain function and your ability to focus and think creatively.

This video reveals a tiny refinement you can make to something you’re already doing every day. You will actually stimulate your brain, improve concentration, make better decisions, accomplish more and succeed sooner.

Watch this 11 minute video and be sure to tell me what you think by commenting below:

Can you see how reducing each of the intention you set in those 7 key areas you’re business must deliver provides you a way of aligning your expectations more effectively?

By mapping these ‘little’ intentions and their corresponding ‘little’ expectations to your daily calendar, you will not only have the practical benefit of a more effective action plan, but now you’ll also be supercharging your intellect in the process.

How will this realization change what you to today, tomorrow and the next day?

What else can you ’see’ about what you learned today?

I’m standing for all that’s possible for you in life and business.

Sincerely,

Steve

What You Need Is A Dream…

January 22nd, 2010 by Steve Little

“Rudy”.  Do you remember that movie?  Did you see it?  If you didn’t then you should go out and rent it….NO…BUY IT… and watch it this weekend.  if you have kids, have them watch it with you. It is without question one of the most inspiring stories in human history.

I happened to catch it for like the 50th time on late night TV recently and thought of you as I watched. This story has elements of pretty much everything we all encounter in one way, shape or form in business and in life.

As you’ll see, Rudy had PLENTY of reasons to be discouraged…plenty of reasons to give up…to quit…and settle for a less difficult path.  But he was unwilling to pass-around his passion…he was unwilling to step-over his purpose…he was unwilling to settle for anything less than the life he truly wanted to live.

I found these clips on the internet and wanted to share them with you to give you a weekend motivational charge.  In total it is about 15 minutes but trust me, its well worth it!

You too are great beyond your wildest imagination.  Enjoy!

Here is my favorite line taken directly from the real Rudy Ruettiger:

“The power of the dream…of giving someone hope…

———————–THAT’S the most powerful thing you can give someone.”

What is you’re favorite quote?

Share any thoughts and inspirations these videos may have given you.

Sincerely,

Steve

“A Brand Called You”

January 22nd, 2010 by Steve Little

I was recently reminded of this terrific article written by Tom Peters, the American write on business practices best known for his book, “In Search of Excellence”.  It was published in ‘FastCompany’ magazine in December of 2007.

It had a big impact in on me and I’m betting you’ll get a lot out of it too.

It’s a little longer than I usually publish here but I promise you it is well worth the time.

Read it and be sure to comment below.

Who Knew Will Had Wisdom Like This…

January 15th, 2010 by Steve

Here are a few of my favorite quotes from this video:

“If you’re going to be here, then there’s necessity to make a difference.”

“I want the world to be better because I was here.”

“If you’re not make someone else’s life better, then you’re wasting your time”

“I want to represent possibility…you really can create whatever you want to.”

“The is no reason to have a ‘Plan B’ because it distracts from ‘Plan A’”

There is NO mistake; No matter what you’re striving to achieve, success leaves clues.

What are some of your favorites from this video and elsewhere.

Let me know by commenting below.

Special thanks to Frank Kern for sending this to me.

“Deadliest Catch to Easy Cash”

December 16th, 2009 by Steve

I recently had an opportunity to host a terrific TeleClass with Kevin Thompson the founder of “Maximum Response Inc.”

It was without a doubt some of the best training for wanna-be online business successes I’ve heard yet.

Even though I was hosting the call, I ended up take over 20 pages of notes. Not neatly written mind you. It was coming at me so fast I could barely keep up!

If you missed the live event we did then you're going to want to listen to this recoding right away.

Kevin delivered 4 FANTASTIC lessons that really will put money into your online business right now!
